The cameras turned toward the student section and focused on a blonde fan dressed in a black cutout top and white miniskirt featuring an orange ZTA patch.
The young woman appeared completely unaware of the attention she was receiving as she smiled, swayed to the stadium music, and casually checked her watch.
Rather than immediately returning to the football action, the broadcast lingered on her for a moment longer.
Internet sleuths have now decoded the mystery girl’s identity, thanks to her public social media accounts.
18-year-old Peyton Blomquist is an Orlando native and a college freshman with a growing social media presence
Her name is Peyton Blomquist, an 18-year-old Orlando native and first-year nutritional sciences student at the University of Florida.
She is also a member of the university’s Zeta Tau Alpha sorority, whose orange initials appeared on her outfit during the broadcast.
Peyton also shared a screenshot of the now-famous moment on her Instagram Story, along with a short message celebrating her team: “Go Gators!”
She then posted a collection of game-day photographs, including images of herself wearing the outfit that had attracted so much attention.
Her caption read, “Work the cut,” a reference to the rallying cry introduced by Florida head coach Jon Sumrall.
While Blomquist enjoyed the attention, viewers digging into her background discovered something beyond her social media presence.
Peyton’s academic achievements reveal that she was a high school salutatorian with ambitions of becoming a doctor
According to multiple reports citing her LinkedIn profile, she graduated as the salutatorian of her high school class in Lake Mary, Florida, before enrolling at the University of Florida.
Peyton’s reported graduating GPA was an impressive 4.736, reflecting her performance in a weighted academic curriculum.
In high school, she also served as president of the Biology and Medicine Club and as founding president of ChemClub, demonstrating an early interest in science.
She also reportedly served as social media chair for the Science National Honor Society and participated in other academic organizations, including the National Honor Society and debate team.
Her academic interests were accompanied by practical exposure to healthcare through reported volunteer work with Orlando Health.
Blomquist is now studying nutritional sciences on a pre-medical track at the University of Florida, with the reported goal of attending medical school and eventually becoming an anesthesiologist.
