I’ve always loved traveling. My anxiety, though, stops me from pursuing longer travels. I’m afraid to jump both feet into a full on “let’s go backpacking through every single country in Europe”. Because of this, I wanted my first time outside of Canada to have a soft landing. I was afraid of being far away from home and wanting to get back there as soon as possible.
For anyone who’s afraid to go traveling, don’t be, there are always options. If you want your first trip to be comfortable, there is nothing wrong with that. Courage comes from getting up and doing what you want to do. Courage comes from sharing your art, your passion, your travels, your stories and especially yourself with the world around you.
