Working as an office manager, he receives all the packages that are delivered to the company he works at.

Currently there’s about 8.300.000.000 metric tons of plastic on our planet. Of this, 79% is waste and posing a direct threat to our planet. And the problem is getting worse by the day.

By 2020 more than 2 billion people will be using parcel services to send packages around the world. While positive for our economy, the plastic inside those packages will only add to the gigantic plastic waste that has already permanently affected our biosphere.

That’s why this office manager came up with Airship.

He replaced all the plastic with one inflatable shell that uses air to protect the contents of packages. It is not only a lot cheaper but also more sustainable, because air is a resource that’s quite abundantly available.

Right now, we throw out the plastic rubble and cardboard boxes. He’s goal is now to get everyone to create cardboard boxes that can easily be re-used.
