This New Wooden Construction Toy Finally Lets You Do More Than Stack Blocks
I grew up as a 90’s kid and while I loved video games, construction toys were still my bread and butter. There weren’t many to choose from back then. Nowadays, there are plenty of more options, but all of these building sets seem to be focused on one thing. They tell you what and how to build with little regard for out-of-the-box creativity. I’m much older now, but I still love toys. I continue to browse the toy section in hopes of finding something new and refreshing. Perhaps a toy that would let me build big, creatively, and without acquiring more sets. I’ve never found anything that satisfied my needs until I discovered Bokah Blocks.
These aren’t your ordinary toy blocks. Bokah Blocks is a new wooden construction toy with only two simple components. This is what sets them apart from all other construction toys. One of them is the Bokah block itself. They come in four different lengths: Longs, Halfys, Smalls, and Tinys. These sizes allow you to build as small or large as you want, and in a wide variety of ways. From crowns you can wear to castles you can stand in, your imagination is not limited.
The second component and the one I feel is the most significant, is the Bendy. This small, flexible, yet extremely strong piece connects all of the Bokah blocks together. It allows them to be positioned in various directions without fear of them falling apart when moving from one location to another. Not only does the Bendy join the blocks together, but it also lets you create moving parts. These joints can easily bring your seemingly static creations to life. They even allow you to build wearable constructions due to their flexibility.
Anything is possible with Bokah Blocks. With all of these unique features, it has the hamster wheel turning in my head. I am so inspired, I can’t wait to build battle-ready cat armor for my feline friend. All I need now is a more patient cat.
