The stunning series of Thor had started out when the model Daniel Ax contacted Kormu to check if they could do something together. After a few conversations they decided to go with the Norse mythology theme.
These pictures are a showcase of Kormugraphys incredible talent on photography and digital art skills, but also a result of teamwork. In the shoot there was a big team working towards the goal. The outfits came from a professional costume shop Draama and the creator of the clothes tagged along to the shoot to make sure it all looks like it has to. Muah Mari joined the team to take care of the hair, beards and make-up.
The level of details in the shoot was stunning. The shield you can see in the pictures is handmade by a talented Finnish carpenter Puustikki and the axe is handmade by Cathill Knives. And Thors hammer is a showcase of the knowledge Kormu carries with him from his larping days.
What might take you by surprise is that the photographer himself was actually also modeling in the shoot. You can try and guess which one he is.
