100% agree. Was a teacher for over 3 decades and it was only the last ten years when the abuse, blame game and disrespect for educators was so apparent. Would love to be a fly on the wall in a lot of those parents' household in the coming weeks

Most people should never be teachers. Including me. They are a very fine group of people.

Every job has a purpose... many of those with the greatest value are, nevertheless, the least valued by our ‘marketplace.’

I home schooled my son through middle school due to his anxiety and depression disorder and bullying. I was a lunch lady at an elementary school and was allowed to bring him. He worked on his school work and helped me. He also helped the special needs kids during adaptive PE. He got the highest scores on testing than ever before. He also learned more about compassion and empathy. He returned to school for high school. It was hard for my husband and I but totally worth it. Teachers do not get enough credit or money while they work well beyond normal work hours to prepare our youth for the future. Difficult and often thankless job.

Two hours in and I have a complaint lodged w HR. The home school principal is a fox.

Two things regular school doesn't teach.

We told you, but you didn’t listen.

If your child has an older sibling, you can have them explain it. Or they can facetime a classmate. Its called peer teaching and it works. Sometimes kids just understand kids better.

My daughter teaches a class of 21 special needs kids I admire her so much!
