My Gel Pen Drawings Inspired By Literature, Legends And Fairy Tales
My name is Magdalena Korzeniewska and I’m an illustrator from Poland. My works are inspired by my favorite things from the world of literature, legends and fairy tales. Science fiction, fantasy and surrealism are what stimulate my imagination most. I love juxtaposition of fairness and macabre, purity and grotesque, dark themes lurking under the soothing and meditative beauty of nature.
I draw with gel pens and then process my drawings in a graphics program.

Dear Magdalena Korzeniewska, I’m self publishing my first indie-novel about a 14 year old girl who touches a tree that gives her a gift, that enables her to see its memories. Is there any chance I could use your painting; “The Prayer”? It is exquisite and would be just right for the front cover. It resonates with me and encapsulates the essence of the protagonist. I will acknowledge you of course. If so, is there a certain procedure I need to follow so I can copy your art just to put it on the front cover? Kind regards, Emily
