Fierce All-Girl Softball Team Does Epic Frozen-Themed Photoshoot, Wins The Internet
T-ball is all-out war, and these 4- and 5-year-old girls are the warriors who fight on its battlefield. They are ‘Freeze,” an awesome Frozen-inspired team in Oklahoma who posed for this tough photo by Betsy Gregory, a photographer and the mother of one of the team’s members.
The girls all posed in Elsa dresses for the photoshoot, but they weren’t afraid to bring their eye-blacked game faces either. After their mothers suggested they make a ‘Frozen’ team to get them excited to play, the girls considered being called the ‘Sparkling Elsas’ before opting for a tougher name – ‘Freeze.’
Gregory hopes the photo will be a powerful message for the young ladies; “It’s empowering, really, for little girls… ‘I can dress up but I can still be tough.'” They came in last in their league, but it still looks they had a lot of fun doing it!

This is so awesome! My daughter is in a in house junior baseball league. She is 1 of 5 girls out of 3 teams. So only her another girl on her team. Last night they played against an all boys team and she was the only one to get a home run! They are all learning and it was probably just a fluke but the joy radiating off her face was a priceless. :)

Very powerful photo!!!!! Love it shows that just because a girl likes being a princess it doesn't mean that's all she is. She can like sports and getting dirty too.!!!

Yeah, most softball is girls, except for co-ed stuff. Why does the description say T-Ball and the title say Softball? Some people are such idiots. They are pretty cute, though.

AWESOME. It's so important to BE YOURSELF, not what society wants/expects you to be. It can be very difficult to do this in America, but - in the end - you'll be better off and happier if you stay true to YOURSELF. You know...without stepping on/hurting others, of course. ^^

They all attend the same Dance Academy in Edmond, Okla. They are all white because their dance class is all white..

Tiny, I think the point is that they don't have to choose. The girls can enjoy dressing up AND be fierce on the playing field at the same time.

But putting them in these dresses is still belittling them. They should be photographed in their normal sports attire so they are seen as being equal instead of 'but really, they're just little princesses'...
