A modern day Atlantis may be found in the Philippines, where a town situated in Mapanuepe Valley got completely submerged underwater after the eruption of Mount Pinatubo in 1991, where volcanic debris blocked exiting waterways to connecting lakes. The only structure which can be seen is the steeple of Church Badjaoen, the defining landmark and last remaining structure that can be seen topside.

Photographers Jun V Lao, Mike Fallarme and model Kelly Hamish explore the eerie yet provocative landmark and conduct an unplanned photo session by dusk to capture the first ever over under photography image of Church Badjaoen.
