30 Things Employees Absolutely Hate And Love About Their Customers, Shared In This Online Group Dedicated To Subway
The chances of visiting a Subway at least once in a lifetime are pretty high. Whether trying to find something fast to eat and stumbling upon the green and yellow signs quickly and efficiently dealing with your hunger, or searching for hangover relief—this sandwich palace seems to always be nearby when you need it. And it’s run by the glorious sandwich artists, toasting your bread, spreading the tuna mayo and complementing everything with scrumptious chipotle sauce.
It’s no surprise that out of all the fast food chains out there, Subway has a dedicated community on Reddit with 16.2k sandwich artists—talking, sharing, and loving (as well as hating) everything to do with the birthplace of your footlong chicken teriyaki dreams.

Subway adds spinach like it's a garnish. I always request more, and they add one or two more leaves like it's gold leaf.

Having worked in electrical retail, I find is hard to work out why some customer felt the need to share random bits of information about their lives or themselves with someone they've never met before.

Many of these customers are accidentally me.. :( Social anxiety + trying your best to please the worker (like thinking that saying the whole order with veggies etc right away would be good) + problems with desicion making = I like to order online without human interaction...

I think it's ok as long as when they ask you to repeat it slowly so they can get it right, you don't yell at them. :) Don't be too harsh on yourself, social anxiety can be a real pain.

Many of them make the workers sound very petty and unkind. I get that ordering 6 sandwiches a minute before closing time is not ok, but ordering in the wrong order???

Worked at Starbucks, same deal. Because of how we were trained, we had to interpret their order into the protocol we used which could get exhausting when you have 20 people in the line out the door--the pettiness goes along with McBurnout...

This can be avoided by just not going to subway. I can confirm, it works great.
