He Got Stuck In Elevator Before His Very First Surgery, And Proved Doctors Have The Best Sense Of Humor
When medical student Joseph got trapped in an elevator, he luckily had just enough battery life on his phone to create the best survival log ever. He proceeded to upload live Snapchats from the Claustrophobia-inducing box during the entire 60 minutes he was stuck there, and the Internet is applauding his bravery.
Robinson Crusoe (1719) and Cast Away (2000) are both great stories but they’re no match for this modern-age tale. Joseph had to give his absolute best to keep alive; tracking the time, defending from deadly fluorescent lights, and other challenges had been lurking in all four corners. I got trapped on one once when the power went out. No lights. I was on the way to the restroom. Luckily it was only for fifteen minutes or so but I did a lot of "Dancing in the Dark."

Omg, I got trapped with 7 of my friends in an elevator. We were 20 pounds too heavy but we thought it's not a big deal... Well, we had a far worse time than this doctor, he really knows how to entertain himself even in darkest times!

This remind me of my first elevator ride without adults in 4 years old, I got the "Close" button confused with the "Open" button and was trapped in there for 15 minutes beating the poor Close button. Finally my mom hear me screaming from the house and come to my aid, 4 year old me is stupid

Trapped for an HOUR???... it is truly astonishing what a human can endure .... and under such horrific conditions. I'm just glad we never got to the "I've gotta pee NOW" part of the ordeal. I hope the PTSD treatments are going well. Dr Joseph... you are what we call a real trooper.

My guess would be that he took the photo after they freed him, and they were trying to figure out why the elevator got stuck to begin with.
