I keep trying to stretch paper’s limits and trying to see how far I can take it! My previous paper weavings can be seen here on Bored Panda.
My latest works are more 3D and sculptural. I hand cut thousands of strips of paper and curl them around a thin wire to make paper strings.
I glue these strings on top of each other to create these pieces. Inspired by Japanese Zen Gardens, I call them Blissful Mountain and Blossom.
