Artist Shows The Sorrow Of Thrown Away Objects He Finds In The Streets By Drawing Sad Clown Faces On Them
Some artists provoke change with their art and others try to make people smile. LA-based street artist Lonesome Town combined both by adding faces on thrown away furniture.
For over a year now this unknown street hero has been putting sad clown faces on sofas, chairs, TVs, shelves that were thrown away, showing how heartbroken these pieces of furniture were.
Take a look at some of his works below.

is it bad that i would totally pick that up and put it in my home ... minus any bugs of course
I'm sorry, but this couch looks practically fine. Someone could have used it if it weren't all painted. Or maybe the paint washes off?
The way it's dull colour contrasts against the vibrance makes it even sadder!
This is cute, but it often makes me angry when people throw out intact furniture just because they think some in another colour might match better, this happens more often in our town here in South Western Germany, and this while unemployed people can´t afford to buy a couch or so, why don´t people at least give the furniture to "Fairkauf" then, where they could be sold for maybe 10 € or so??? If the furniture´s wrecked by the dustmen nobody benefits from it, some people really seem to have too much money, while others´re too poor buy buy furniture....
No need to be angry. Once abandoned furniture has now become sought after pieces of art.
