Straight No Chaser Superfan Draws Mandala Colouring Pages To Commemorate 20th Anniversary

The a cappella group Straight No Chaser, hailing from Indiana University, announced their 20th anniversary “I’ll Have Another” tour in May 2016. This happened to coincide with my recent interest in drawing mandalas, and I came up with a way to incorporate my two loves. I posted the colouring pages weekly and encouraged my fellow fans (“Chasers”) to download the colouring page and upload their finished products to help promote the tour of our favourite group!

Here are my original drawn colouring pages, along with my completed coloured versions.

20th Anniversary

Diamonds Are Forever

There is an inside joke among Chasers – this “diamond photo” is often used as a promotional photo, even though it is not a current photo.

Chasers At Sea

Have you ever wondered, “Gosh, has Straight No Chaser ever performed on a schooner or large sailing vessel?” The first Chaser summit was “Chasers at Sea,” a cruise from Miami to Key West to Cozumel, October 11-15, 2012.

Straight No Chaser has done residencies of varying lengths at Harrah’s in Atlantic City, New Jersey, from 2010-2014.

Dance Marathon

Straight No Chaser’s first ever performance was at a 36-hour dance marathon.

12 Days of Christmas

Straight No Chaser got their start after an old video of “12 Days of Christmas” went viral. You may notice I took some liberties with the interpretation of some of the verses.

“Ang,” I hear you asking, “has Straight No Chaser ever been to Australia?” Well, Aussie a cappella fans, SNC toured Down Under for four dates in July 2016! I have conveniently and thoughtfully marked the locations on the map for you.

Holiday Spirits
