There would be critical moments and bad days, and it would stress me out at some point. Homesickness won’t help either, let us say, 11,226 miles away from home. Regaining my calmness and peace of mind, I spend time being alone. Me and my own thoughts.
From being a simple homework to pastime, from pastime to an outlet and channel of expression.
I use different mediums like oil pastel, watercolor, poster color, oil paint, acrylic paint, color pencil, charcoal, color pen. Sometimes, I just grab what’s in store and splat it on the canvass. Odd stuff like coffee, creamer, egg shells, glitters, annatto, leaves in various shapes, etc.
Every artwork depicts emotions, experiences, stories dreams and random events.
I am Lani, and this is my outlet, painting and drawing. Simply me.
