Dad Turns His Sons’ Doodles Into Amazing Anime Characters
Thomas Romain is a French artist who lives in Tokyo. He’s worked on various anime series such as Symphogear, Space Dandy, Aria, and Basquash!, but his best work is the work he does in the Father and Sons Design Workshop. That’s what he calls a series of tweets that showcases the drawings he does with his kids. They come up with all sorts of weird and wonderful creations and then he adds his artist touch to turn them into awesome anime characters. From aliens and cyborgs to knights and steampunk doctors, there’s no limit to what this father-son duo can achieve when they put their minds together!

Except he somehow mistook what was clearly a ninja star with a lit stick of dynamite attached to it for some kind of druggie syringe thingy....pffft amateurs...though he did make the savvy choice to leave out the cyborgs army of killer dildobots which I guess is a win...

This is just so amazing and beautiful. This gives me ideas to redraw little children's pictures over here at the Birmingham Al hospital.

the picture is circa 2006, so yes, people still used CRT monitors at that time ;)

Terrific art work. However, as a dad that played many art games when my daughter was wee, I prefer he actually "turn his kid's artwork into amazing drawings." Meaning, incorporating the existing artwork. "Look son, mine is WAY better," isn't as good as, "Look what WE made!" Still, these are neat.
