The seven wonders of the world are a must see, whether you’re a self professed traveller or not, they’re simply incredible.
They’ve stood the test of time, standing for hundreds of years and are still going strong, taking the shape of a gargantuan defensive wall, a giant mausoleum and religious figures.
They all took many years to build often at a great cost of money and lives.
Someone clearly had way too much time on their hands and decided to figure out just how much it would cost to build the imposing structures today. It’s pretty crazy, they generally would be way quicker to build, but what they make up in time, they definitely lose in money!
They worked out the costs by looking at how long they took to build, the size of the structure and workforce and the materials needed. They then searched for modern material costs, as well as the cost of land and labour to create new masterpieces.
It’s pretty impressive, but surely you can’t beat the real thing, Lets hope whoever may want to rebuild them has deep pockets!
