Some Mean Girls Made Fun Of My Underwear

Once I was eating lunch alone and i was sitting incorrectly, so the edges of my underwear were showed and some girls came up to me and told me my underwear was for little girls because they had some hearts or flowers and stuff like that .I was so embarrased and one of the girls said “and the little girl is cryng cause we discovered her secret” I promised them to take my underwear off in the bathroom so I went to the bathroom and I decided not to take it off because someone can see it and make fun of me. They clapped their hands when I returned back, but when I told them I didn’t they were disappointed at me. When I arrived home I cried lyng in my bed and I told my mom to burn all of those underwears or just give it to another girl and buy me new ones; and she did. Now I think I shouldn’t have trusted them because they were mean And now I’m working on it.

I've been an adult for a long time and some of my underwear has flowers on it. Some grown women like underwear with hearts on them. If someone got on my case about it, I'd probably make fun of them and ask, "Are you the underwear police? Do you go around checking everyone's underwear?"

Honestly who cares what kind of underwear you have on. The mean girls are probably little skanks that think if you don't wear a thong you aren't cool. You will find as you get older that underwear should be comfortable and its your choice what you wear and no one else. A good comeback for them would have been "at least I am wearing underwear and not going commando." I do like Viviane's comment below as well.

Anyone can write for Bored Panda. Two of us responded by offering support to a child who was bullied. Children can be extremely conformist over clothes. Sometimes, they have to be told that there are no special rules about fashion.
