Me too but other people shouldn't use pms as a reason to dismiss us or our concerns. Like I told my husband, pms doesn't cause me to invent things I am upset about, it just increases my emotions about those issues.

Funny thing is, apparently what causes the hormones are a rise in testosterone or something similar involving it, so all these guys who think women are crazy on periods don’t realize periods just make them act like men.

That still isn't an excuse to dismiss us when we are upset about something that has nothing to do with being on a period. That's the point.

Of course hormones have real effects, but it's still not ok to say a woman's on her period or having PMS when she's upset. It's not ok to use real biological issues to invalidate and minimize what somebody's going through. Edit: I also have PMDD but controlled thanks to using a progestin only pill without interruption/period.

Exactly. Thank you. My biggest problem with this 'comic' is the response. No man EVER talks to another man this way. Something a woman wouldn't know. These 'comics' are preaching to the choir, i.e. pissed off females, lesbians, males especially 'in touch with their feminine side,' bitter divorcees, general man haters, etc. It's a puppet show where the straw characters are a mouthpiece for the author, a person who clearly has 'issues,' fixated on men and their 'bare minimum.' A couple of these are so twisted they make no sense. I love to learn about what people think and feel about everything but this is so biased I'm learning more about its author and her problems than anything else. According to her, what you need to do is get tattoos, piercings (or whatever c**p du jour), stop shaving and dress like hookers so you can find 'empowerment.' It's laughable. Erica Jong this ain't.
