I rarely comment on anything, but this is misinformation and spreading bad education about electricity is dangerous. The bird isn’t grounded so the power would stay in the line. Power lines aren’t even insulated and carry exponentially more power than telephone lines and birds are safe on them as long as they don’t complete a circuit by touching multiple lines or becoming grounded.

Reminds me of Rolondo's tcos in San Antonio, one was almost the size of four normal sized tacos. We would tke orders from the gang in the shop and everyone would just order one, except the new guy he'd order 3 And wouldn't listen if we tried to explain to him... was fun watching someone trying to eat 3 HUGE tacos because he wouldn't admit he messed up
