Well, that's enough internet for today.
Really? I love the Halloween season, I need more!
Oh I do too! I just didn't expect them to be so morning.
Holy. Crap. These were awesome ! The mother stopping her son from getting on the bus, that story had me sobbing. Powerful art, what talent!
I like this one too. Especially that part where the boy is angry at first and then realises what actually happend. Masterpiece.
That one is not scary at all, but very heartwarming.
@movie maven: well I think she is satisfied that she protected her son. Mothers know what is best for their children so I dont think she will haunt her son. My mother passed away when I was in grade 8th. Later, when I studied in university I used her old scooter. I got a few serious accidents but miraculously just getting a few scratches. I think she somehow protected me.
while i wouldn't call it a masterpiece; i concede w. engineer_nope that it wasn't very scary to me... until i worried greatly for the boy being haunted by his terrifying ghost mother forever haunting him while trying to protect him. Ahhhhh!
No, it is scary. Immagine all the parents who lost their children who took that bus.
@Tai Tran - thanks so much for sharing your sharing story. & though i'm sorry that your Mother passed when you were so young. i'm sure she was indeed continuing to protect you afterwards. especially while riding her old scooter to Uni. & yet you managed avoid getting anything other than a few scratches during your serious accidents. i know she was still protecting you dear! XOX
For me, most of these comics are rather sad than scary. Especially this first one, with hanged girl. Before death, she probably felt so despair and lonely... I can't stop thinking that if the man had spotted her in the window a few days earlier, maybe - just maybe - they would both be happy.
I think the mixing of emotions is what distinguishes good horror from incredible horror :)
as do i fruit_panda - it only takes a slight bit fright mixed with characters, emotions & close relationships to make even a slightest piece more compelling think of Mary Shelley's Frankenstein or any number of Poe's stories & poems! many Gothic tales are full loaded with such.
