This lazy panda forgot to write something about itself.
That is very creative way to describe it
the schizophrenia one is wrong. It has nothing to do with having split personalities.
maybe its more like they're struggle with two different realities? i'm just guessing btw so if i cause offence than i'm really sorry
well the general misconception about schizophrenia is that it's the same as split personalities (dissociative disorder). Literally everyone I know makes this mistake, and I see it online all the time too. There's even a very common phrase that goes "I'm feeling schizophrenic" , which is supposed to mean that you have conflicting feelings so it's like you're two people in one, or something like that. So that's why I just assumed that this artist made the same mistake, because it is a SUPER common mistake to make. Even in books and movies have I seen it.
I'm no expert on this or anything, but I do think it's important to point out when people have misconceptions about mental heath (or just in general) so people know the actual truth :)
Yep, came here to say just this...annoys me greatly (having had a family member with it).
I signed up to make the same comment. What on earth is that pencil supposed to mean? Have been teaching and working in mental health for over a decade, and the 'split personality' myth just won't die.
the schizophrenic one is wrong. Schizophrenia is NOT the same as having a "split personality."
that's odd. This first comment didn't show up here in the comment section when I posted it, that's why I wrote it again. But now, here it is. Can it be removed somehow?
it happens to me all the time ;(
