Shocking Nature: Animals That Definitely Belong To Some Other Planet!

When it comes to animals, I’m pretty sure we can add hundreds of animals to rarely seen animals list if not thousands. Most of us have very limited knowledge about animal kingdom. I was included in the list too until I started my own Instagram & fb page to make use of my free time. As I started researching about surprising aspects of the world, I found that nature gets more and more surprising the more you research.

I can make this list a whole lot longer but I will present here only a few most amazing animals instead of listing them all. Also I won’t describe much about them because I guess the way they look itself is enough to describe how absurd and unique they are. For remaining of them and more info, checkout my Instagram & FB pages on @sbtchannel. I’m damn sure you will love it!

Ocean Sunfish, one of the heaviest bony fishes! Almost half of its body is its head!

Alligator Snapper Turtle a turtle with one of the most powerful jaws among all the animals existing on earth. It eats other turtles too!

Chinese Snub Nosed Monkey, one more amazing animal species threatened by habitat loss

Blue Dragon: this creature is a species of blue sea slug. You could find it in warm waters of the oceans, as it floats on the surface because of a gas-filled sac in its stomach.

Atlantic Scale Worm aka Golden Worm: This weird weird looking worm grows to be around 20 cm long. It’s found at the depth of 500+ meters in Antarctic Ocean and it is carnivore!

Naked Mole Rat. This rare rat species lacks pain sensitivity in its skin, and has very low metabolic and respiratory rates. The naked mole-rat is also remarkable for its longevity and its resistance to cancer and oxygen deprivation.

Angler Fish a deep sea creature. It is a bony fish named for its characteristic mode of predation, in which a fleshy growth from the fish’s head (the esca or illicium) acts as a lure.

Atolla Wyvillei Jellyfish, a species of deep-sea crown jellyfish. When attacked, it will launch a series of flashes, whose function is to draw predators who will be more interested in the attacker than itself. This has earned the animal the nickname “alarm jellyfish”.

Atretochoana aka Penis Snake. The largest known Caecilian with length of 81 cm. Caecilians are typically predators, feeding on small fish, worms, and other aquatic invertebrates. They have poor eye-sight and navigate primarily though smell.

Axoltl aka Mexican Salamander is also called Mexican walking fish. This is an amphibian. Thanks to humans and humongous amount of water pollution that we’re creating, this cute creature is almost on the edge of extinction.

Bactrian Camel a large, even-toed ungulate native to the steppes of Central Asia. The Bactrian camel has two humps on its back, in contrast to the single-humped dromedary camel.

Bald Uakari, a unique monkey species restricted to várzea forests and other wooded habitats near water in the western Amazon of Brazil and Peru

Ball Bearing Treehopper. Note that the “balls” on the antenna-like structure aren’t eyes, but simply spheres of chitin.
