Schools Promoting Kindness Is Only Partly Effective

I’m in 6th Grade. I’m very fortunate to go to a school that has a “zero” tolerance policy for bullying, or at least promotes “kindness.” Well, they say “spread kindness,” but they never actually make it happen. From my other post, you may know a little background. One of the things that makes me most angry is that we have a “Great kindness challenge” where we get things like candy and stuffed animals and bookstore gift cards for being kind. I know it does influence kindness, but the intentions are often not good. They only want the prizes, not the actual kindness. I am currently in online school, but I hear things that people say about from my friends who are in person. I’ve started a list of things people have called me. This includes the r-word, b-word, n-word, and f-word. Comment on this if you have the same scenario with your school, I want to see how many other people are in a similar situation.
