Navigating breakups is one hell of a job nobody signed up for. And when you almost start moving on with your life, slowly regaining the joy and confidence of being a singleton, ready to smash those Tinder dates, a message pops up… “Hey, can we talk?”
And no matter how many times your friends have told you it’s a bad, very bad idea to engage in ex-texting, the temptation to respond is still there. And sometimes, it’s you who makes that first ‘long time no see’ text to your ex. In both cases, the results of texting your ex have been very well documented in a self-described “unspirational” Instagram account titled “Texts From Your Ex.”
From savage shut-downs to hilarious revelations, and anything in between, you can see why the account is followed by a whopping 2.4M followers. So scroll through the ex craziness, be sure to share your experiences in the comments and after you're done, part 1 awaits right here.

But why don't these people just block 'em right after the breakup? Honest Question...
Breaking up with someone does not necessarily mean that you don't ever want to talk to that person again. There is a gape between "I think I don't love you anymore" and "f**k off you crazy bitch I don't ever want to see you again or I'll call the police"
Load More Replies...I don't know why anyone responds to their ex's texts. Just block them and move on...... nothing good every comes from speaking to the ex!
I agree to a point. I would not say nothing good "ever" comes from it. Sometimes it depends totally on your situation. I would not be happily married and have my daughter if that were the case. My husband and I were together for a year in college, we kept in touch periodically...then we reunited about 7 years later at an event we both attended. We started talking again, which turned into hanging out again, which turned into being back together. Our 8 year wedding anniversary will be October 29th. So, while your advice can be good, sometimes if you let them go...they come back, and they come back better. Not all breakups are hostile and not all ex's bad news.
Load More Replies...Ok so this is an honest question, Why do all of these messages seem to be from Men...?
They can't all be from men. Women can be just as toxic after breaking up and do stupid crap like this.
