My wife & I are in an independent, touring harmonic alternative folk duo called Flagship Romance. We make a living writing songs & traveling/performing across North America 6-8 months out of the year.
Last year we wrote an original holiday story song called “Sally the Snowflake.” It tells the story of a little snowflake who goes on a journey to overcome her anxiety & self-image issues.
We released the song, along with this lyric video that we made ourselves. We had NO idea the reaction we would get to our song. We received emails from folks saying that the song made them tear up; others said the message of hope got them through a tough time. The most impactful was a former motorcycle gang member told us it made him cry like a baby.
With there being a couple days left in the Christmas season, we’d love to see this song/video spread far & wide. It would be a great gift for us to see more people positively impacted by our song.
