I Live In A Small Romanian Village Where Time Stands Still
My name is Suciu Daniel, I’m from Băița de sub Codru, Romania. I’ve been photographing for about 3 years now and I love to take pictures related to the lifestyle of people, also, I love landscape and macro photography. I am an amateur photographer but I know I have made some great photos and I feel I have developed much since I started.
The photos posted here were taken throughout these three years around the village where I live (Câteava) and some in Baia Mare.

hello, what a nice job you did. that's the kind of life my mom left in the late 50's, in the former yougoslavia. so, these pictures remind me lots of memories. I remember my baca, stepping from the the train in such dress, scarf on her head.. don't stop doing that memory'work. one day, we won't remember it anymore. bye

Gorgeous Romanian countryside....I've spent most of my childhood there....forever a part of my soul.I really hope the modern world won't swallow it all.I would really love to be able to go back there someday.

Wow. These are so beautiful. My grandma was polish/ukrainian. I imagine this is what my grandmother's village looks like. Don't stop taking photos of these types of villages.
