Rockland County Art in Public Places has unveiled a new community mural by international artist Lexi Hannah at the day care center within the Yeager Health Center in Pomona, New York. The mural reflects the imagination, warmth, and playful spirit of childhood while transforming the entrance into a welcoming environment for children, families, and staff.

The mural highlights the continuing mission of Rockland County Art in Public Places to bring meaningful art into shared settings throughout the county. Established through Rockland County’s pioneering Percent for Art Law, the initiative has helped integrate creativity into public life for forty years, enriching everyday experiences through accessible art.
