If you are a very busy member of our modern society, Qoobo might be exactly what you need.
Qoobo is a round fluffy pillow with a realistic cat tail that moves when the cushion is being petted. This unique robot pet was created by “Yukai Engineering” from Japan. The company presents Qoobo as a therapy or relaxation robot cat and markets it mainly for young people living alone, children, and the elderly. The creators say that having an animal on your lap has healing qualities and that Qoobo with its soft cat fur and responsiveness to touch is the next best thing if you can’t have a real pet animal.
Would you enjoy having this interactive cat pillow at your home?

I like the idea and can see it could be a comfort for people with allergies or other situations that keep them from enjoying a pet.
Also two other great things! They don't need the constant care or aren't jerks no matter how kind you are to them!
cute! good for me since im crazy allergic to cats ;-;
You could always get a hairless cat! :D
It is the cat’s saliva that people are usually allergic to. Exposed to it from a cat washing/licking itself & it dries on the hair. My cat is allergic to the saliva from flea bites & scratches & licks herself raw if I don’t keep flea medication on her.
.........which is accompanied by food and vet bills.......no thx
Yes, it's definitely the saliva as Pat said. I always had cats and when some of them drooled on me it got quite itchy while with others it was fine. A friend of mine is also horribly allergic to another friend's cat, but not to mine.
I've definitely considered that too :o)
good for me that i lazy. 😂
Cute, but I prefer my cats to be real :) definitely an option though, if someone can't keep one for whatever reason
