I went to Bath for a relative’s wedding and took lots of photos to paint from. This will be my next one. It’s a beautiful place and very interesting, as you will know if you’ve been there. I had never realised that Avon was ancient Celtic for river. So when we say River Avon, we are actually saying, River River, as I’m sure many of you know already. I am working on a painting from another photo I took. You can see it in stages on my blog.
