Retro Fashion Meets Modern Tattoos

For a fashion/editorial illustration project I decided to imagine retro style fashion models with modern tattos.

The images were created using Adobe Illustrator on a Wacom Cintiq Companion 2. Thus, they are vector graphics. It was quite fun creating vintage style fashion pin-ups and bringing them to life.

After that I decided to create some mockups to show what they would look like as modern art.

Two of these were actually showcased at an Adobe conference in Germany. The WallStyle Gallery printed several images from various artists living in Nordrhein Westfalen and illuminated them for the conference!
