Illustrator Repaints Disney And Other Cartoon Characters In Her Unique Style, And They Look Better Than Original
Isabelle Staub is a US-based artist who specializes in portraiture and character design. Based in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, she uses her skills to turn cartoon characters and popular culture icons into her own unique and often super lifelike creations. Seeking drawing ideas in everything from Disney characters and princesses, Powerpuff Girls to Pennywise the Clown and Tarantino movies, Staub transforms each of these cartoon drawings with a wholly distinct style of her own. “From the moment I could hold a pencil, I was drawing and creating every day,” she writes. “Art is a direct reflection of the artist. As such, my beautiful drawings are a reflection of who I am, constantly evolving and improving and not limited to one medium or style. I let my art tell viewers a story, connecting them to a place, time, and emotion. I pour my heart, mind, and soul into every piece I create.”

Buttercup, The Powerpuff Girls
Pocahontas, Pocahontas
Ariel, The Little Mermaid
I like it. It's unfortunate that everyone feels they have to be so critical.
Kidagakash Nedakh, Atlantis: The Lost Empire
Tiana, The Princess And The Frog
I can't decide which I like better... #5 or #8. In both cases, the character seems to have been brought to literal life, with richness and depth. Amazing work!
Mulan, Mulan
Its perfect!! But maybe harder for her to be a man with a face as beautiful as this :DDDD
Nani, Lilo & Stitch
Meg, Hercules
Debbie Thornberry, The Wild Thornberrys
Penny Proud, The Proud Family
Kim, Kim Possible
If I had to guess from this picture, it looks like Kim is sassing someone again.
Cinderella, Cinderella
Am I the only one who thinks the Disney Cinderella looks like Lucille Ball?
Snow White, Snow White And The Seven Dwarfs
Belle, Beauty And The Beast
This is the first one I've seen where Ms. Straub kept that "Disneyness" in her portrait, that fresh-faced ingénue. Very nice!
Yeah, we haven't seen these kind of posts for a couple of weeks now.
They will change it as clicks and views go down and down. In the end it's all about money. Moderators/owner don't really look at comments at post. So it takes a bit longer. They just look at stats.

I resigned my office-job and now I am getting paid £64 hourly. How? I work over internet! My work was making me miserable, so I was forced to try something different, two years after...I can say my life is changed-completely for the better! Check it out what i do... http://random.website/1cZR
*slow clapping* You robot asshole.
I've seen this guy on comments always trying to rile people up - must be what he gets paid for

Robot, u say?
Everyone has been botoxxified.
Exactly and their eyes (already being unrealistically huge) doubled in size.
And their lips puffed up and they almost all had a nosejob...
They're also super sweaty. I like the art, but if the style were tweaked just a bit, the portrayals could be even better.
There's no doubt the artist has talent, but for me there is not much understanding of the personalities of these characters. That's a shame cause their is obviously a lot of work gone in but all is see is superficial vessels without character.
Yeah, they seem too much like fashion models with the same expression, and by god, must everyone be so shiny?
Yeah I mean you can have incredible talent like she does, but you're drawing a person who has to convey some personality.
She'd probably do really well drawing for make-up and hair styles (maybe clothing, though she doesn't seem to focus on it so I can't really judge that the best), but she is very bad when it comes to varying expression, face shapes and facial features.
Yeah I draw too and whenever I see this it's like.
