Researchers in Norway gave nine wild reindeer a camera. The result is 140 000 pictures – mostly of fur, but also unique scenes no one has ever seen before.

This calf is no more than a few hours old. It was photographed by its own mother.

The Reindeers’ fur is very thick, and protects them from the harsh climate they live in.
Eagle attack
See the eagle? Eagles are a constant threat to the young calves of the heard during spring.

Me, too! This is beautiful. Our zoo used to offer a reindeer class. It was so fun and took place in a beautiful, snowy setting. I'll never forget that.
