I rode / flew around on planes for close to 15 years c**p like this would not be tolerated . He'd be head smacked and in zip ties faster then he could complain why?.

In fairness, people are allowed to read, and to use the light above their seat. Agreed, not sure why she needed an overhead light to watch something on her iPad, but for all we know she has low vision issues that make the overhead light helpful. But I haven't been on an overnight or early morning flight lately; do they ask you to turn off the overhead light unless absolutely necessary (like to find something in your bag, or that you dropped)?

I can't think of an instance when that wouldn't gross me out.

I'm not understanding what the issue is: it looks like the mother rigged some kind of child seat to her suitcase to make it easy to roll as a unit. I wouldn't recommend walking through the airport towing this behind me where I couldn't see the baby (unless the spouse is walking behind, keeping an eye on the baby), but there's not a lot of choice going down the plane's aisle.

You never know a person's situation. This man might have medical conditions that make it painful for him to stand in line for a long time. It seems like he's found a way to accommodate his needs without disturbing others, so what's the problem here?

They're prepared for all the people with bare feet and who are drying underwear.
