I Add Pop-Culture Characters Into Old Thrift-Store Paintings
I buy from thrift shops, yard sales or even salvage from the curb, unwanted art and give them renewed life. Most are prints or lithographs and paint by numbers-with the odd original. Any scratches or marks are carefully touched up and then my own visions are added.
Concepts range from pop culture to dada themes. What was once destined for landfill is now an appreciated piece of art and conversation piece. This is an ongoing series I started several years ago and am busy with new works and commissions.

Rev. 3: 20 - Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with that person, and they with me.

This is great fun until you realise you painted over an original Degas...
