Onety-one is actually close on how we say 11 in Estonian. We say "one-otherty" (üksteist) and it can also mean "eachother" (üksteist). I dont know why we do that, cant even blame the Germans for that one.

If you accidentally dial 911, or get disconnected in the midst of a 911 call, they will call you back. At least, they do here in Ontario. They have to be sure there isn't a real emergency. And yes, I have experienced this first-hand. Once, when my then-2-year-old discovered the direct 911 button on the landline phone in a Niagara Falls hotel room. And once when I got disconnected while trying to take a video of the guy who carefully stacked the yard waste bags (paper, holding dry leaves) that had been waiting for collection on the curb in front of my house, and then set them ablaze. He was gone before the fire department and police arrived.
