Theresa Zingg is a full-time artist based in Charleston, South Carolina. Her artistic journey began in high school, where a pivotal art teacher sparked a passion for creative expression. It was during this time, the teacher first praised their ability to see and interpret shapes in a unique way—an early sign of the distinctive approach that would define their artistic voice. Building on this foundation, Theresa pursued formal training at the Milan Art Institute, where she honed skills and developed a deep understanding of various techniques and artistic philosophies. Today, her work in mixed media is celebrated for its dynamic interplay of form, color, texture and beauty. As a full-time artist, Theresa’s creations resonates with collectors, and the value of their work has steadily increased as her reputation grows. Theresa’s art continues to evolve, captivating audiences and leaving a lasting impact in the world of contemporary art. Theresa Zingg creates work that celebrates the beauty found in simplicity and the strength that lies within unity. Theresa’s art explores the organic shapes and bold lines that reflect the inherent power and fluidity of life. Theresa embraces imperfection, allowing each piece to be loose, free, and untamed. Working with a variety of mixed media, including inks, mark-making, spray paint, acrylics, and oils, Theresa creates dynamic, layered compositions that evoke a sense of movement and vitality. Each stroke, each mark, is a testament to the strength that comes from embracing both the controlled and the chaotic. Theresa believes in the power of connection and community, as expressed in their mantra: “Be focused, we are the same community.” Whether through the delicate curve of a line or the boldness of a spray-painted mark, Theresa invites viewers to find connection, strength, and beauty in the simplicity of the moment. My work is a reflection of shared human experiences. I embrace the beauty around in simplicity and strength of unity that exists in the soul of each one of us. Through organic shapes and bold lines, I embrace imperfection of being loose, free, and untamed by letting the piece flow from within. Through my artwork, I invite others to connect to their own strength, authenticity and feel a sense of unity that we all share.

Hey there, Pandas! My name is Diana (though some prefer to refer to me as Diane, Deanna, and even Liana sometimes), and I am a Community Post Moderator Lead for Bored Panda. As my position title states, I am one of the people (employed Pandas for bamboo) over here who work with the community side of things on this website to ensure all is well, and while at that, I also help various creators and artists get recognition for the incredible work they do by connecting them to a large worldwide audience. Other than that, outside of work, you can find me brewing a nice cup of coffee, making a pizza from scratch, or baking brownies. I also love traveling, concerts, and cats (heavy on that, because I am a cat mom).
