The post said pops tried to "man the guy out", and there's a joke there, but I can't quite work it out.

If You Are Religious And Gay Remember : He Is More Disappointed In You For Not Drinking Enough Water Than For Being Gay
I once used this argument when someone said that Katrina was a punishment for gay parades. I told her that if maybe they we just sick, why would they deserve punishment? And the parades are just a way to tell the world that they deserve to be happy. She remained speechless.
Load More Replies...I guess it is a CHOICE to be mentally ill according to these types of people? Such weird reasoning.
I'd be better with demons than with that pastor because the hell accepts LGBTQIA+ as it is without question.
Or maybe all the overly pious, right-winged, self-righteous goes to hell, and all decent people go to heaven no matter their color, sexuality and ethnicity. Being decent to others should be very simple. That was what Jesus preached after all. But if this should not be the case I'm pretty sure hell is a cool place by now with all the science people, authors of unruly books, witches and wizards, and all the cats....
Load More Replies...I hate it when Christianity is dragged along the floor by the people who would have avoided Jesus like the plague if He walked up to them, in a modern form and position relative to the one He did in Bible time. He'd probably get shot. This man is not a true Christian. We are not supposed to do anything to hold anyone else back from Christ and criticizing then it's exactly that .
Pride Month started as a way to commemorate the Stonewall Rebellion, which occurred in the early hours of June 28, 1969. Unfortunately, police raids on bars catering to New York's gay community were common at the time. But on that day, people felt fed up with years of harassment by authorities and chose to fight back. This decision lead to an uprising and erupted in neighborhood riots that went on for three days. They inspired activism and ignited the modern LGBTQ+ rights movement because one year later, the nation’s first Pride marches were held.
"Pride offers a moment to celebrate our victories and remember our battles," Justin Bengry, Director of the Centre for Queer History at Goldsmiths University of London and convenor of the MA Queer History, the first degree of its kind, told Bored Panda. "But it should also be a moment when we reflect on the fact that neither our history nor our activism started in New York in 1969."
Campaign From The Swedish Armed Forces
Better than the rainbow bullets at least...
Load More Replies...Yeah, I did my military service in 2008 and even back then I must say the swedish military was great at including different sexual orientations (and women, even though it was not many back then, at least not where I was. They had just started making fire proof sports bras to go with the uniform, and period supplies were free.) we had discussions and theme days and any type of discrimination was very frown upon. (I guess it still happening despite this, sadly.)
*or rather non-flammable, lol. Even though fire proof would have been cool.

The training instructor tells us during morning drills “shoulder to shoulder! THIS LINE IS NOT STRAIGHT!” And I replied “cuz we’re not straight!” I was in trouble but it was totally worth it :)
The Swedes can look back to Karl XII, the Germans to Frederick the Great.
Happy Pride Month Everyone Love Y'all
I came out a bisexual to my parents and my friends who didn’t know yet by getting bi flag braces and showing them off.
Martha Catherine Brenckle, professor of writing and rhetoric at the University of Central Florida and treasurer for the LGBTQ History Museum of Central Florida, said that Stonewall has taken on the imagination of the community. "Remembering what happened at Stonewall and now Pride Month says we will no longer tolerate harassment and intimidation," she told us.
"When Obama visited the Stonewall Inn and gave it the designation of a National Monument, the place and event took on even more importance, especially for those who weren't even born yet," Brenckle continued. "Knowing History is crucial to knowing who you are and where you are going in the future. Every step we make politically and socially has been from standing on the shoulders of all the activists who came before us."
My Grandma Is 83 And Lives In Rural Florida Where She Is Surrounded By Anti-Gay, Right Wingers. She Just Had Her Two Front Benches Repainted In Support Of Her Three Lgbtq Grandchildren (Me And Two Cousins)

This is genius. No other people would like to sit on the benches. You got them for yourself😂
That's awesome. Mine got her church to start "moms for hugs" for lbgtq people who are abondon by their parents. I'm part of it. So hugs to anyone of you that has had that happen.
This is beautiful. I would do the exact same thing if I were an 83 year old G-ma.

July 3, 1981 The New York Times prints the first story of a rare pneumonia and skin cancer found in 41 gay men in New York and California. The CDC initially refers to the disease as GRID, Gay Related Immune Deficiency Disorder. When the symptoms are found outside the gay community, Bruce Voeller, biologist and founder of the National Gay Task Force, successfully lobbies to change the name of the disease to AIDS. March 2, 1982 Wisconsin becomes the first U.S. state to outlaw discrimination on the basis of sexual orientation. March 10, 1987 AIDS advocacy group ACT UP (The AIDS Coalition to Unleash Power) is formed in response to the devastating affects the disease has had on the gay and lesbian community in New York. The group holds demonstrations against pharmaceutical companies profiteering from AIDS-related drugs as well as the lack of AIDS policies protecting patients from outrageous prescription prices.
Still a long path to go, but let's keep marching.

According to Bengry, many unfortunate events took place even before Stonewall like that at San Francisco’s Compton’s Cafeteria in 1966. They show how trans and queer people were long subjected to regular police harassment and how they resisted it. "In the 1950s and 1960s, homophile activists in the US and UK protested against unfair treatment under the law and lobbied for reform, bravely identifying themselves as homosexuals," Bengry added.
Of course, this kind of activism was happening in some places in Europe too. "Histories of queer people who advocated for a fairer and more just world extends even into the nineteenth century. In the 1860s and 1870s, Karl Heinrich Ulrichs, a German lawyer and journalist, created new terminology to describe those like himself who desired members of the same sex and spoke openly against laws that criminalized homosexuality," he explained. Moreover, even in the first decades of the nineteenth century, Bengry noted that a group of likely queer men in Britain sought to overturn anti-sodomy legislation that still carried the dire threat of execution if convicted.
Straight Men Hate It When Gay Men Treat Straight Men The Same Way Straight Men Treat Women
I'm a guy and I've been hit on by a guy. Was a bit shocked and flattered. Might have blushed a lil bit.
same here im straight and a guy i find it flattering
Load More Replies...To these straight men, I would say: You know for a fact that not every woman is attracted to you, so what makes you think EVERY gay man will be attracted to you? Besides, they know you're straight, silly.
Someone told me they didn't want to be thinking that some gay guy is checking him out. I asked him why he thinks gay men find him attractive.
Wow, yeah that must be super annoying. Hope they understand when you say you’re not interested and don’t call you a derogatory word or two
When i was younger i used to think "i'm ok with gay guys, as long as they don't try and hit on me'. I guess i didn't realize i wasn't attractive to them so we're good.
My best friend from the Philippines told me how it’s common in Manila for groups of local gay men to catcall, make lewd gestures, and even follow foreign male tourists, and how uncomfortable the victims are. I know it’s wrong, but I can’t help but feel a smidge of joy in the knowledge that some men who have done this to women are getting a taste of their own medicine
Can we send some of them to the US? ... And where there are other homophobes?
Load More Replies...Dude I would be so flattered if I was hit on by a girl. Then again, I’m not quite sure where I stand with my sexuality.

Load More Replies..."But even as it is crucial that we look back, we must also look forward and Pride should also be a moment for us to think about LGBTQ+ people who do not have the same safety, privilege and opportunities that some of us do." The lecturer told us that globally, many people live in danger and fear. "Even in our own communities, trans people, queer people of color, many queer youth, those with disabilities and others remain marginalized and vulnerable, too often through the actions and policies of our own governments," he said, adding that during Pride, we must demand better.

This is amazing, showing this to the bad places of Florida when i head there :)
Living your (and others) best life is more satisfying than wishing ill of people who made life difficult for you.
Trust me my family are always uncomfortable now that I only respond to cat or catrin from the (I came out as trans and they weren’t happy)

If I Had More Access To The Internet When I Was Younger, I’d Have Known I Was A Lesbian A Lot Sooner
A lot of us found ourselves on the web. The web in the 90s was pretty crunchy though. I got into erotic fiction. I still prefer that to porn. Tell me a story, don't bombard my eyes with bits and pieces.
You've just articulated, in one sentence, the entire argument against (the US) Florida's 'Don't Say Gay' bill. Well done!
The internet is the reason why I now know I'm aro ace. Before that, I didn't even know being aro or ace was a *thing*. And I'd be a LOT worse off for it, trust me.
I knew I was Ace I just didn't know that there was a name for it. Not that it mattered to me but now I don't have to explain every time to people what that is because of the internet most people know.
Load More Replies...Angry adult during school diversity and inclusion week shouting about how it's making kids question their sexuality versus every normal adult saying well yes, that's part of the point. Not one of them will end up any different because of this, but all will hopefully learn how and where to get support early so they can live as who they are. What do they prefer, hide who they are and wreck their and everybody else life because you feel a bit uncomfortable?
Despite having lesbian aunts that I saw all the time, my parents never actually *told* me about anything lgbtq+ and I learned what being gay was in 5th grade, it was hard to understand the concept and different labels at first but it got easy. My parents aren’t homophobic in any way, they just somehow assumed that because I had gay aunts that the knowledge of the lgbtq community would spawn in my brain? The internet heaped largely with my understanding of it.
You cannot be made gay or trans. You are born gay or trans. Knowing gay and trans people exist just helps you realize who you are. If you got a dog and raised it around only cats and punished it for acting like a dog, it'd act like a cat. But it'd still be a dog. LGBTQ+ people are still LGBTQ+ no matter how you raise them or what they're exposed to. They just meow because you make them.
I had no idea I was Ace till I learned what it was. I was like "That makes sense."
Why yes, this is so true. Before that fateful day in 1993, there were no gays. After that everything changed, my neighbour was affected, the guy at the clothing store started acting different, the oil change shop I went to hired a girl mechanic, by 1995, they were EVERYWHERE! /s
Raising awareness is now far easier due to social media and how convenient it is. People use it as a great tool to show the diversity of the community, discuss the history of LGBTQ+ advocacy and share opinions about the gains and setbacks made by the people.
"Social media offers amazing opportunities to highlight queer voices and to amplify the widest diversity of experiences across the spectrum of LGBTQ+ people in our communities," Bengry mentioned. "We can use social media to share our histories and celebrate our victories. We can call others to action and use social media to demand change."
Unfortunately, it is far from perfect. "It also gives voice to those who would do us harm, those who attack our community and especially the most vulnerable and marginalized amongst us." Bengry added that as much as we use these platforms to do great things, to share knowledge and resources in an accessible and safe way, "we must remain vigilant and push back against those who would use it against us."

We live in a capitalist economy and being a visible part of the economy is not a bad thing. I know that people complain that the Orlando Pride Parade has become too commercial but participating in the mainstream economy isn't a bad thing."

For me the biggest sin of all is matching that pink jumper with that yellow and purple skirt. Unforgivable.

Load More Replies...But when businesses publicly show support for the LGBTQ+ people by setting their logos with symbols and designs from their communities and movements, Bengry said it is important to ask them about their motivations.
"This kind of visibility is only the very minimum we should expect, and we can use this initial support to start a conversation about how they can do more," the lecturer explained. "Do they donate to LGBTQ+ organizations, community groups and charities? Do they use their economic and political power to promote and support other LGBTQ+ causes and equality issues?"
"And, I think, most importantly we should ask questions about their own business practices and policies. How do they treat their own employees? Is it a safe environment for their LGBTQ+ staff? This is where they can have an immediate impact on people’s lives most directly, and where we must always push corporations to do more and do better," he noted.

Muah!!! Kisses for you...kisses for you....kisses for everyone >:D
My girlfriend and I were holding hands once and some old baby boomer said “that is completely inappropriate! Grow up. Women shouldn’t date women” so I called every person on my contacts list to come with the same gender to hold hands and link arms and s**t, (they didn’t even have to be dating, just friends, and of course if they didn’t want to, nobody was forcing them) some of my gay friends even kissed their boyfriends, and we had an entire a*s parade of gays (or people PRETENDING to be gay just to p**s off homophobes) like 38 people, and we tried to descreetly walk around where the annoying homophobic baby boomer was talking with her friends 😂
Make this a regular occurrence. We need more solidarity.

An ENTIRE generation? My Grandad had a very flamboyant gay friend. No one would talk to him until my Grandad got chatting to him. He made sure no one mocked him etc. This was in the 60s. I guess my point is don't judge an entire group of people if you don't want the same done to you. Also, a quick peck in public is fine but don't be gross and have make out sessions.
Not an entire generation. You think you invented gay? I know quite a few gay Boomers and gay Gen X-ers. Try again
Heck I even know one who was born in the early 1910's.

In my opinion, cats know more than humans and if they love and accept you, oh wait, cats don't always love you..well, if cats accept you, go screw the rest of the population! They do not know anything! Dogs love everyone also, all animals do! It's only humans that hate difference!
my cats show their support by letting us put rainbow bandanas on them. They are so cute!
So to kick off Pride Month 2022 on the right foot, Bengry advises you to celebrate your victories and reflect on the past. "Our history is incredible, dynamic and exciting with powerful stories of collective action, trauma, community and resilience."
"Read more. Explore more. Contribute to preserving our history by sharing your own story in a queer history project or learning how to interview queer elders or others from across our community. Join a local queer history reading group or take a community history class. Queer history is everywhere, and now is the time to preserve, share and celebrate it," he concluded.

This Is Beyond Stupid Is Anyone From Alabama And Can Confirm This Stupidity
*laughs in aroace* anyone want garlic bread or juice boxes?
Load More Replies...So these so called Christians would rather have straight couples "live together in sin", than allow same sex couples to get married? 🤔🤨
Alabama isn't the only southern state that's known for incest. Georgia and West Virginia are a couple that come to my mind. The latter is due to Ben Brainard's character of West Virginia being asked what WV wants to call people from West Virginia.
Load More Replies...Nutshell: Madness! Yes, this was true, but it isn't anymore. After gay marriages were legalized via the Supreme Court, eight counties in Alabama refused to issue any marriage licenses to avoid same-sex marriages. From Wikipedia (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Same-sex_marriage_in_Alabama): "In May 2019, the Alabama Legislature passed a bill replacing marriage licenses with marriage certificates in order to keep probate judges from violating their consciences and so that the remaining counties would resume marrying couples."
But technically, there are still common law marriages, so people are just saving on paying the marriage license fee and the state is losing money.
Common Law marriage only applies in certain situations when specific criteria are met and can be proven. The problem is it's not a common anymore since there's no way to keep track of it and paperwork, so from a paperwork perspective it doesn't show up as a marriage for things like health insurance and joint taxes

Pro-life generally ends at birth. Unborn children are the perfect helpless group to defend, as they can ask for nothing. All you need is a means to shout your opinion into the world to be an ally of the unborn. All other groups that truly need help cannot be so easily satisfied.
"Do you want to know the gender?" "No, I'll love them either way." 16 years later: "Not like THAT!!!"
The difference between viewing your offspring as an extension of yourself, where everything they do, every achievement, is somehow because of you, and believing, and raising, your children to be happy, healthy, and independent individuals.
Maybe their parents need “conversion therapy” to go from exclusion to inclusion.
Pro-Lifer are not pro Life, they are only contra women self-determination. So no wonder they do not support whatever is against their believes.
Exactly, we always say that they're "pro birth" because they don't give a damn about anyone's needs after they exit the womb.
Load More Replies...That is despicable and cruel, your parents shouldn't shame you for being yourself
"Pro-lifers" are "pro-life" until they're supposed to support something (they say) they don't want to. Sadly, that's what politics (at least here in the US) have devolved into.

We get bombarded enough by ads on a daily basis based on a conversation that our phones hear, to now be targeted based on whom we love, our pronouns or race.
Gay people are just people with vastly different tastes so either of these women could be representative of a gay person.

Load More Replies...The biblical line 'man shall not lie with a man' seems to have been translated from something that looks more like 'man shall not lie with a boy' which in turn comes from something which could have been translated as 'man shall not lie with a child'. I don't have a massive problem with people who believe the Bible is the word of God, but I really wish they would accept human translations and interpretation are what they actually read. Although some clearly will interpret the way they want. Try reading about Sodam and Gamorha. Even the king James version does not read anti gay. There is a bit which looks like men are trying to have sex with men, but god's anger is focused on the fact this is violent act of rape against foreigners whose children are also starved. To me the 2 biblical bits homophobes use to condemn gay people are actually bits where God says 'i hate pedophiles, xenophiles and rapists'. Just my opinion though.
Hasn't happened since COVID but I used to be stopped by people trying to recruit me to their religion. It became obviously clear that they knew very little, kept pointing at their translation of the Bible and repeating whatever they were taught. I pointed to the English side and told them that's not what it says in English. Then go down the history of the Bible, how it was repeatedly translated so if this one passage can have a completely different meaning in 2 living languages, how can you trust it? In addition, it completely contradicts itself in an earlier book of the bible... They give up real fast and I just hope I gave them something to think about and they will just try to be a good person

Gen X should not worry too much about being left out on this. Yes, there is a historical record of legislation, but being stereotyped by your entire generation is overrated.

Every time I’ve ever heard the tired old “I just don’t want them hitting on me” line, it’s been from a greasy slob of a man that no man would ever hit on. Seriously, dude. The camo suspenders and greasy trucker’s hat you’ve never washed aren’t going to bring any boys to the yard.
literally all the girls and guys who resent me for me being bi/aro/ace
My friend came out as bi when we were in high school, and went overboard to reassure me that she *didn't* have a crush on me. To be honest, it was both reassuring (I didn't find her attractive that way, and I am resolutely straight), and kind of awkward (she stopped just short of saying I was completely unattractive to anyone!). I was more excited that she felt comfortable enough with our friendship to come out to me - it might even have damaged our friendship if she had a crush, because it would have remained unrequited.
I'm bi with a straight friend and I'm hoping she reacts the way you did!! And that she doesn't see this, because I haven't come out yet and she's on BP ;P

misgendering is a problem. i get called young lady all the time. just cuz i have long hair doesn't mean im a girl.
Same just because I wear feminine clothes. I was even at a pride fest today and I had a they/them pronoun sticker and two non-binary flags and this person was talking about me using she/her pronoun and caling me a young lady. Ughhh stupid gender norms and gender assumptions.

My 13 year old daughter's friend is constantly being dead named by their parents. They flat out refuse to call him by his chosen name.
Load More Replies...I think people missgender to be polite and not intentionally be rude. For me growing up, it was a big insult to call someone the opposite gender of how their biology looked (like saying that you were a failure to be feminine/masculine enough). But now that more people are publically identifying as non-binary and transgender and wanting to be recognised beyond how biology dicates, it's creating a new type of etiquet. 'Being polite by not assuming a gender'. Which can be confusing to people who grew up with an opposing belief system on what counts as polite. (I'm not saying that it's right to misgender, just that not everyone does it to be hurtful)
Finnish language has no gendered pronouns. Everyone in official language is "hän" = he/she/they/whatever and in spoken language people often use the word "se" which means "it"
Same with Hungarian. Sadly, many hungarians are homophobes, but at least we can't misgender, because everyone is just "ő"

Load More Replies...I believe I also have a horse in this queer race (have a queer horse in this race?) as an ace in a same sex marrige, but I just fail to see how voicing concerns equals to hate speach now. "Homos will burn in Hell" has a distinctly different ring to it than "I worry about vulnerable young people and women getting harmed" to me. Saddens me that our long fight for acceptance somehow led us to canceling people for *any* reason. Wasn't that the very thing we aimed to end? :(
I'm not sure why you're being downvoted, I completely agree. Open discussion without hate should be encouraged, instead people are now terrified to even start a conversation with fear of saying the wrong thing or being misunderstood. (Though watching our politicians squirm when asked questions on trans issues is very entertaining).
Load More Replies...She basically said that the term "menstruating persons" shouldn't replace the word "woman", because women had to fight for their rights as well and that biological genders are still very real. Then people jumped on the whole transphobia thing
Load More Replies...This is just so painfully hate-filled and ignorant. People are allowed to have their own opinions.
And again for the slow kid at the back: people being allowed to have their own opinions cuts both ways. People have a dim view of JKR because of her transphobia and support for the Union? Then, by the terms of your own argument, you should shut up and allow them to have those opinions.
Load More Replies...I think it's heavily exaggerated - She made her point clear and didn't deny any rights for anybody. She might be a terf, and is probably anti-trans. She says she isn't a terf and she is pro trans but she is also not a trans ally as she has outdated beliefs and tends to lean against trans rights (partly out of fear, not that it makes it right). She has an essay about her views on her site, you should read that and then also people criticizing that view too though. Her essay: https://www.jkrowling.com/opinions/j-k-rowling-writes-about-her-reasons-for-speaking-out-on-sex-and-gender-issues/ People criticizing her views from a neutral standpoint: https://thecorrespondent.com/702/im-trans-and-i-understand-jk-rowlings-concerns-about-the-position-of-women-but-transphobia-is-not-the-answer/788222918340-a4270c13 and from an anti standpoint: https://www.thecut.com/2020/07/j-k-rowling-writes-essay-defending-her-transphobic-remarks.html Short answer: She's not an ally, she has anti-trans beliefs, but it's complicated. Hopefully now the true meaning of "trans rights are human rights" is apparent! If you back the cause of denying basic rights to a minority, you open the floodgates to denying basic rights to ever larger groups. Eventually one of those groups will include you!
"First they came for the socialists, and I did not speak out—because I was not a socialist. Then they came for the trade unionists, and I did not speak out— because I was not a trade unionist. Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out—because I was not a Jew. Then they came for me—and there was no one left to speak for me."

i absolutely agree that this is bad if they're raising the price just because they can. however, i know of a few local businesses that make pride-themed items for june & they raise the price because they donate the extra cents (which quickly add up) to lgbtq charities. without the full story we can't tell whether they're taking advantage of pride month or being extra supportive.
Load More Replies...Sucks, although Nivea seems to be getting the blame for what could be cynical store pricing. Name and shame the store.
I agree with other comments, but there may be possible answer that isn’t homophobic (but may seem so). When companies make stuff, they order materials to make it. The more materials they order, the cheaper due to volume discounts. When they make smaller runs of products, material order is smaller and less of a volume discount. Companies usually pass added costs on to consumers. IF (big if) that’s going on here, they should’ve cut the consumer cost (and taken a hit on profit) to make it the same cost…so the consumer optics don’t make it seem like the LGBTQ product is more expensive. IF that’s the case, it’s just a bad look.
Still proves the point. Showing support? Fcourse, but it mustn't cost anything.
Load More Replies...The only way I would accept that is if all the proceeds went to legit charities that helped the LGBTQ community.
Mostly business that caters to the trans community, usually takes advantage of the women. Many times they charge much more for "discretion". It hurts the women who need those services, because they don't have a lot of options. As an ally, I try and help how I can. (Closeted friends)

And there's this horrific torrent of death threats and bomb threats and even RAPE threats, doxxing and radical transgender activists posting her address online along with bomb-making kits. JK Rowling donated over HALF her money she made from Harry Potter to charity, didn't even make a big fuss out of it, and also stands up for LGB and Women's rights. And now, since she said she was concerned about the erasure of women and women's single-sex spaces, she's being bombarded with hate from so-called fans, named a "TERF" and a bigot. It's really awful.

Perhaps this is generational but, having worked for LGBTQ++ rights since the late 70's, fighting Anita Bryant, getting protections enshrined in city and state laws, Getting LGBTQ++ people elected and appointed to office, getting protections passed for those with aids/hiv (in the 80's) etc. It was difficult to get businesses to pay any attention to our existence and provide support, so I have real problems with so much hatred for companies that try to sell us stuff in June. We aren't forced to purchase anything, and they are showing bigots that they the business is NOT on their bigoted hatred filled side. There is so damn much hatred in the world, why hate those that are (while using us for profit) are actually helping to continue the "normalization" of our existence.

It's the one month out of the year that LGBTQ+ people feel just a little bit safer about being their true selves. I wish PRIDE month wasn't necessary and the community can feel 100% safe being true to themselves without consequences, but that's our unfortunate reality. Feeling safe is priceless and I'm glad we have at least this much. We still have a long way to go, but we are getting there. Don't Ask Don't Tell doesn't exist anymore, that means my bi cousin in the army can feel safe and keep her job. She's been in for 20+ years and married her wife shortly after DADT was voted out.

The companies, the pandering. The pinkwashing. I hate all of it. Just stop fetishizing me, stop asking me for threesomes, stop telling me I'm faking or broken.

Yeah, wtf dreamsexuals, if you are sexually attracted to someone shouldn’t it mean you have a crush on them? (There is actually another sexuality called dreamsexual but instead it means that you only have sexual attraaction in your dreams)

I've never looked at them any different than I do anyone else. I know some people don't like them for being gay, but why do they care who they sleep with? It doesn't affect them one way or the other. I don't get it.
Same could be said, why do people care about skin colour. Makes no sense, but it exists

Completely agree. We have to collectively take a win somewhere. Society, the general public, it's tough out there. Take the satisfaction in knowing that a bigot was and has been inconvenienced.

People put too much value in labels to be honest. Just be you. Are you atracted to 99% men and 1% wonen? Fine! 100% men? Fine. 80-20? 30-70? Its all fine. You dont need a label :)

I am 55, old, busted up, and A sexual (I have no gender feelies and never have) I married, and divorced, but have a wonderful son. Because I was supposed to. I went through the motions and hid for so long. Because I was supposed to. I am sorry for taking up your time, and understand if it’s not okay. Just felt like everyone was sharing coming out. I just needed to tell someone, my secret. Truth furthermore, if I could, I would choose the company and companionship of another female. Thank you for taking the time to read this. I apologize if this isn’t the time or place, or angered anyone. I didn’t mean to.
No problem whatsoever. Sometimes, you just gotta vent somewhere. It's cool with me. Anyone who does have a problem with it? Tell them I said they could kiss my a**. It's none of anyone's business but yours.
