Portraits From Ghana

London based film director Meena Ayittey has created a series of video portraits celebrating the acheievements, success and failures of several Ghanaian women. The films themselves were born from Ayittey’s desire to show examples of positive stories from Ghana as well as to illustrate the wealth of talent emerginng from the country and the women at the forefront. The series of 11 video portraits each focus on the story of an andividual woman and her unique experience of life in modern day Ghana. The full video series will be available later this year.
