Polish Michelangelo – New Mural In Łódź – Adam’s Heart By Piotr Chrzanowski
Although December in Poland is not a good month for outdoor artistic activities, Piotr Chrzanowski and his crew along with Urban Forms Foundation and Medical University created an impressive site-specific mural: “Adam’s Heart”, inspired by Michelangelo “Creation of Adam”. The wall belongs to the Medical Univeristy, that’s why the artist wanted his design to be connected to medicine. He found an inspiration in the masterpiece of the Italian Renaissance painter. In order to distract attention from purely biblical aspect, he added a whole chain of DNA thus bound the mysticism and the science. “God created man and man discovered DNA” – explained Piotr Chrzanowski.
