yep, people playing outside, together, talking to strangers in parks or in the street instead of staying on the couch...yep totally controlled. What if you let people do what they want? (but I suppose it was the point of this clickbait?)
Couldn't agree more! I don't generally go out much, cos I feel that I don't have a reason to (kind of pathetic I know!) but in this nice sunny weather it's been really nice to get out and about, and even though I've mostly been playing it on my own, I've met quite a few new people, who I wouldn't have met had I stayed at home alone. I was talking to a guy I met at a Pokegym and he was saying how much it had helped him get out of the house, as he has anxiety, but the need to catch more Pokemon was forcing him to go out of the house! I think as long as you're sensible about it, and play it safely, then it can be really good. I'm just dreading the time when summer is over and it's too cold/wet for me to go out and about in my wheelchair, I won't be able to catch many Pokemon or hatch many eggs then :(

Did it *really* solve a problem though? I'm all in favor of getting kids out of the house, but it doesn't change the fact that they are still doing exactly what they where doing *in* the house...staring at their phones, interacting through social media...so really, has it changed all that much?
Monica, at least there was some amelioration ;) And I have to disagree, they are not interacting trough social media. Please really test it before saying anything: people come across each other in the street and start speaking about, even if they don't know each other. Phillipe: who say you can't do both? And if you see life only trough quotes, your mind must be very close...:)
Poor people that need a cellphone to get the asses out of coach to take a bath on a waterfall or watch a sun set...Einstein was right...
I went with my daughter to collect poke balls and pokemon and really enjoyed it. We conversated and worked together, though I don't play. We were spending quality time together no different but actually better than like watching TV or playing on a computer. I also observed over the weekend at one of our peak poke-spots where people of different ages, races, and I am sure they were different religions as well, were camped out with chairs and coolers and of course thier phones. My observations were everyone was socializing, comparing pokemon, laughing, startagizing together, and just having a grand time. Compared to what people could be doing, think it is great! It also takes minds off of what we cannot control going on in today's world in my opinion.
Thank you! At least someone who is trying, looking, and analysing before judging and hating! :)
Good point of view...
