Mormon isn't a term for Sexist and Racist. I am an LDS member (LAtter day saints, true name for Mormons) and this is not what my church promotes or is like. I know that our church conforms to stereotypical gender roles but most of us are willing to conform and those that don't conform are still normal. Women can be strong and wear pants and do things that people mainly consider "manly things" I'm just tired of all the Mormon hate

I've been a Mormon for over 40 years. Not once have I been told not to wear pants. Perhaps this commenter shouldn't assume because we value modesty, that it's only Mormons who do so.

Could be a Muslim. In Islam women aren't allowed to imitate the dress of men and vice versa. I'm a Muslim woman and I wear pants but there are some sects that believe that women cannot wear pants because they are imitating men. I've never understood the logic because pants aren't exclusively for men. The same people say that pants show the shape of the body (we do have to wear loose clothes) but they assume that all pants are tight.

Pants are old as History and have been usted by both men and women for thousands of years in Middle and Far East. Only a sex-obsessed guy could think of pants as exclusively for men.

I grew up “in the culture”. To this day I refuse to wear dresses, & not to rebel, but because dresses make it easier for men to rape you. Fact. - Damned if you do, damned if you don’t. How about men stop sexualizing every thing a woman does, says, or wears?

actually i read somewhere that a french man invented the panties for ladies to save them from the hungry eyes of men while kneeling on the floor cleaning it.
