It’s easy to judge when you are not there and only have part of the story.

Exactly, having your homeland invaded, you will do what you can to defend yourself. And then be labelled the "bad guy".

Drawing that conclusion from a fictional drawing, is pretty strange since the artist is clear that's not the case. There are always many sides to one story, but in a fictional one the artist calls the shots. And don't be pc about cultures you know nothing about. This fictional wife you are thinking of is also living the life that becomes her in these specific countries of war. And even though international soldiers (not just US soldiers) are there to intervene, the reason for war to begin with is usually very local with people fighting for money and power. And since oil is a big one in that, international attention is drawn quickly. War stinks, but it's not that simple to say someone invaded your home and all you did was just have a semi automatic weapon to defend your claim to power in it while ordering the females in your household around.

Did you miss the part where the guy was hiding the AK47? They're allowed to keep weapons in their homes to defend their families from terrorists that would kidnap them. And use the wife and children as ransom to force the father to be a suicide bomber. Or just to execute the family for talking to American troops. We don't just "break into" someone's home at random. They are investigated and questioned, just like the police would do. We don't go in unless it has been determined that there is a terrorist or a LIKELY terrorist. The civilians all know what we are doing. It's explained to them and their leaders by commanders. And commanders keep contact with these leaders so that information can be delegated. Again, we don't just breach because we felt like it. And it's rare that this is done without the suspicion of a known terrorist. The shooter was a terrorist. Guarantee that's what was meant to be portrayed. Talk to a combat veteran. Turn off the news.

Be careful about making judgments and coming to conclusions when you don't have the full context. I have done this and felt like a fool when I learned the rest of the story. You may be right, but maybe another commenter is closer to the truth.

this was about terrestits acting like normal people

So you say, when a homicidal maniac enters your home and took control of your life and your family by waving around a machine gun and his status as a member of organized crime, it´s the people trying to stop him, that are the bad guys. or are you saying, people that hide a homicidal maniac with a machine gun willingly count a peaceful civilians? And you HAVE TO be a homicidal magic to begin with, when you think you can improve any kind of situation, by pulling out a machine gun, facing 6 duded and a dog with machine guns. All in all, every way anybody could come to your conclusion, is just brain dead.
