Having studied biology and being a nature photographer for a long time now, I always wanted to create some form of art that could express nature’s beauty in its simplest form.
I then came to this project in which I try to express through my art the hidden and abstract beauty of nature in all its perfect design and complexity. My creations are elaborated through mirror compositions of abstract photographs focusing on unusual shapes, lines or patterns of natural origin. Those abstract compositions, similarly to a Rorchar test, invite people to see differents hidden images and allow everyone to have a different experience.
The subjects I use can be vegetal, mineral or even animal but always have in common this particular abstract beauty that emerges from its natural origin and narrates the processes that shaped it.
Through my abstract creations, I try to open the eyes of people on a usually unsuspected and unnoticed aspect of nature’s beauty and try to demonstrate that the perfection of our world can not only be admired in landscapes or wildlife photographies but sometimes in the smallest details and the complexity of the shapes that are spontaneously created all around us. I hope you will enjoy discovering my work.
Try to guess what was the subject of the original pictures and you will see that it is often quite challenging.
