After 79 years of controversy, it closed on December 9, 1987.

This is the place Ghost Hunters always visit. The reality of the place was bad enough. There's a body shoot for disposing of corpses so residents didn't get stressed and they had a tuberculosis ward where they would leave people outside in all kinds of weather thinking the fresh air would cure them. Could have used a lot more info in this post. Because Eastern Penn state is interesting to learn about. Tragic but interesting

If this place isn't haunted,then ghosts don't exist.This place has got to be spook central. With all the horrible things that happened there, it has to have some bad vibes.
