In an age of fast everything, it's refreshing to come across timeless vintage fashion, art, jewellery and general relics from the past. They transport us back to an era when people painstakingly put their all into creating something that wasn't necessarily meant to last forever but somehow did.

Timeless elegance – the most accurate description for this masterpiece.
This is my problem when I've been lucky enough to travel and see old buildings and things. Like the Alhambra in Spain. We had a tour guide and, understandably there were many other tourists, so I can't stand and look at all the details and stuff the way I want to. But I'd be there too long so I do understand. I just want to look at it!
Beautiful but hardly practical to wear. it would get snagged on everything.
Embossed armor was stupid. It allowed lancepoints and everything else to catch and therefore peel you open like a sardine can. The best armor was about as convex ar nature could manage.
My nan had the poor person's costume version of this, I have it now. Nobody else wanted it, it's lost a few feathers, but I used to think it was the most glamorous thing in the world 😍
