My Paintings Reveal My Small Part In The World’s Play

I am a self-taught artist and I’ve been painting for about 24 years.

My painting style varies. I have about 16 sketchpads that I gathered over the last 18 years and every now and then I go over old ones to see if anything pops out and needs to be painted. I often go backwards with my work as I paint only because it makes me happy, not to prove my worth as an artist.

Some of my works have no message behind it, I simply enjoyed painting them, and others are serious about the world and my small part in the play of it.

I am happy that I can make something interesting and honest.
