I am actually considering buying a tail. For younger mermaid lovers I would HIGHLY suggest Fin Fun mermaid. They have cheaper fabric tails that are a better option for people who want to feel like a mermaid but don't want to drop $3,000. If you want a more expensive tail (about $400) that is a little more realistic but still fabric I would buy a finfolk productions fabric tail. For those who are all in and are willing to spend a lot of money on a very realistic tail, I would suggest buying a silicone tail from finfolk productions.

I like mermaids. They are awesome and why did a three-year-old article show up on trending ? Is it just me?

Do you really have to pay 3,000 dollars to get a tail???

Not necessarily. It really depends on how fancy you want to go. On websites like mermadia you can get pretty basic cloth tails for only 100 to 200 dollars that swim well and look nice, but they're nothing compared to the silicon tails. I have bought my two tails on Mermadia through, and I've been pleased with them.

I'm moving to North Carolina, and I will probably try to be a professional mermaid. This is cool. Imagine going here, and then the next day, putting on a fin for your job!

I knew my husband was the man for me because when I went to his house for the first time, he had a VHS copy of the film "Splash" with Tom Hanks and Darryl Hannah as the prettiest mermaid EVER!
