Our Global Treshur Hunt 2017!

This is the story of Waffle the Lakeland Terrier ( a dog with an amazing talent for sniffing out balls) as she sets sail on a swashbuckling new adventure – this time aboard ‘The Black Terrier’, Waffle is asking for shipdogs to join her as she sails the seven seas in search of Pirate Treshur.

Following a run of successful fund raisers held over the past three years, which has seen more than £15,000 raised, Waffle has gone global and is being joined by her pawpals from across the world to raise money to help sae and change the lives of less fortunate dogs. This year Terriers and all breeds of dogs are uniting to help raise money for three very special and dedicated rescues.

Terrier SOS – a small UK based charity, that helps to rescue abused, abandoned, neglected terriers that are often in dire situations and / or in ‘put to sleep’ shelters – and Wire Fox Terrier Rescue Midwest & Bronco Bijou and Friends Rescue Ranch Inc. – both of which are base in the USA.

As they sail the oceans wide participants will have a treasure map of 26 items that people and their dogs need to find. Taking part is easy- all you have to do is take a photograph with your dog and the found item and post it to the Facebook Group ‘Waffle’s Paws to Help’. There is also a Sponsorship Form to print if you want to get family and friends involved in the fun! Doubloons and pieces of eight can be sent via PayPal to airedalesareus@ntlworld.com.

The fun runs until October 7th, so there’s plenty of time to find as much treshur as you can. We are all focused on saving and changing the lives of so many wonderful dogs and trying to educate and bring about change for their futures.
