Mannequin on the Moon is a tri-weekly one-panel cartoon created by Eisner Award winners Ian Boothby and Pia Guerra, a duo whose work spans some of the most iconic corners of comics and satire. From The Simpsons comic books and Mad Magazine to The New Yorker, Ian and Pia have spent years shaping sharp, clever humor together while also building their own celebrated projects.
Their creative range includes Ian’s Sparks! series for Scholastic, the supernatural adventure Exorsisters for Image Comics, and Pia’s landmark work on Y: The Last Man for DC’s Vertigo line, along with her Pulitzer finalist editorial cartoons for The Washington Post. Together they bring a mix of experience, wit, and imagination that turns each Mannequin on the Moon panel into a small standout moment.

What's hysterical is that the BBC newsroom is being swept clean for making deceptive edits to create the appearance that Trump supported an insurrection when he left office. Every traditional news organization in America was guilty of that, but slander is waaaaay harder to prove; they can just fall back on, "it's our opinion he WAS somehow meaning what we made him seem to say," and it's very difficult to challenge that; The networks lost cases against the voting machine creators, Rittenhouse and the pro-life protestors because the burden of proof is much lower for people who aren't public figures. CBS feared losing their "deceptive edit" case because they changed their own promotion of alternate versions suggested why they made the edits.

Reminds me of a TV series, I cannot recall the name, pretty sure it was last century. An episode started with two knights hacking and slashing at each other, narrow misses, in a castle room. Tables, chairs, stair rails destroyed. King walks in, shouting, "I told you two no playing inside!" The knights were his sons.
